About us

Built in 1771, the Whitlock was one of the first inns built in northern Massachusetts when original owner, John Whitlock, opened his home to passing stagecoach travelers seeking a sanctuary from the Berkshire pines. In the decades since, this elegant two story farm-house has maintained glints of the gilded age elevated with modern amenities throughout the 30 guest rooms and expansive grounds.

Our cozy queen spans 182 square feet for all the space you need to unwind and wake up well-rested for your Lenox exploration.
